Aims and Scope

The Journal of Applied Criminology Research has been founded with the aim of advancing scholarly knowledge and disseminating contemporary findings in the domain of applied criminology. It is devoted to the systematic analysis and critical examination of issues pertaining to clinical criminology, legal criminology, and preventive criminology. The articles published in this journal typically comprise empirical investigations, comparative studies, statistical analyses, and analytical evaluations which address a range of topics including crime prevention, the causes and contributing factors of delinquency within the framework of clinical criminology, and the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of criminal justice policies and penal institutions. This journal endeavors to develop practical and applicable solutions for crime reduction and the enhancement of social security by employing an interdisciplinary approach and drawing upon empirical evidence from various fields within the humanities and social sciences. Accordingly, all professors and researchers with an interest in topics related to applied criminology are invited to support the continued publication of the journal by submitting their original research contributions.
